Recruiting now for 2025, we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Graduates to join our teams across the UK.  You will be working with experienced engineers and professionals to provide sustainable innovative solutions for our clients, as well as working on exciting and complex projects across all sectors of the Built Environment.

 You will start your journey on our Graduate Training Programme, which shall develop you through our core Mechanical services. Our structured training programme covers practical experience with internal training, CPDs and external training courses.  You will be supported by your mentor and line manager as well as being coached by experienced Design and Senior Engineers in a team environment.

 Your learning will be “hands on” both in the office and on site, once you have completed the training scheme, you will be working towards managing and leading your own projects.   You will be encouraged to become a chartered engineer through an accredited institution such as CIBSE, IMechE or IET, we also cover the cost of your professional membership.

Your workload will be varied including using the latest technology to prepare drawings and design for our clients, undertaking building surveys, attending site meetings and being involved in the development of net zero carbon energy strategies.

 You will have attained or will be graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or in a related subject.   You will have good numeracy, literacy and IT skills and be a confident communicator.  You will have had experience with AutoCAD software and may have some knowledge of REVIT.  You should be self-motivated and it would be advantageous to have gained some previous work experience within Building Services or a related field

Are you a student looking for a placement as part of a sandwich degree or over the summer months?

We have opportunities throughout the Business for either Building Services or relevant Mechanical/Electrical undergraduates to join our dynamic teams.  Our placements can vary from 1 year to 6 weeks during the summer break.  During your placement you will be working with experienced engineers and will be assisting in the preparation of a range of MEP designs to our client specifications.  You will receive an introduction to BIM/Revit and have the opportunity to undertake site-based duties.

It is essential that you have good communication skills and strong IT skills, you are keen to learn and interested in a long-term career within the Built Environment.

Recruiting now for 2025, we are looking for Graduate Sustainability Engineers to join our Sustainability Team in Edinburgh to support the team across a wide range of energy, carbon and built environment sustainability fields.

Our team undertake the development of net zero carbon energy strategies, undertaking operational energy and carbon studies as well as thermal comfort, daylight and air quality analysis. You will be supported to undertake further training and development to enhance your current skills and knowledge and well as to achieve recognised qualifications such as BREEAM Assessor.

You will start your journey on our Graduate Training Programme, which covers practical experience with internal training, CPDs and external training courses.  You will be supported by your mentor and line manager as well as being coached by experienced Sustainability Engineers in a team environment.

The role is both exciting and varied as every day will be different, you will be supporting our design teams across our 7 regional offices providing support on design evaluation and analysis across all industry sectors.

Ideally you will have attained or will be due to graduate with a relevant degree and have knowledge and an interest in the Built Environment and Sustainability.  You will have good numeracy, literacy and IT skills and be a confident communicator.  You will have had experience with AutoCAD software and may have some knowledge of REVIT.  You should be self-motivated and it would be advantageous to have gained some previous work experience within Building Services or a related field.
