The reconstruction of The Machrie Hotel and Golf Links on the beautiful Hebridean Island of Islay was completed in 2018.

Hulley & Kirkwood provided the full MEP design services for the project including building regulation compliance calculations for the new lodges.

The hotel has been fully redeveloped while retaining the original building façade. The hotel consists of luxury guest accommodation, bar, first class restaurant, spa, gym, conference facilities, cinema, guest lodges, staff quarters and state-of-the-art golf practice & teaching facility.

The golf course has a world class reputation as one of the finest links courses to play golf with breath taking views across Laggan Bay.
