Working directly for A. B. Dynamics, Hulley & Kirkwood assisted the client to determine their brief in order to produce M&E design information to be tendered. Detail design was carried out on behalf of the BAM SE ensuring that a cost effective scheme was proposed. 

The project consists of a 2 storey factory, comprising of workshop and software engineering areas, with a double height testing hall. The new building is the A.B Dynamics “Flagship” head office to showcase to their innovative design and production facilities to their clients.

New lighting, power, heating, ventilation and water services were installed within the new-building as well as specialist installations such as vehicle exhaust extract and compressed air systems. The majority of the services are exposed and are installed to a very high standard.

The building connects directly to an adjacent PV farm with capacity of providing 100% of the electrical supply of the building.
