Sitting in the office and dreaming of fishing? For some of us that dream became a reality with our annual fishing trip in Scotland on the River Spey, reported to be the most famous salmon fishing river in the world! Flowing northeast across the Highlands into the North Sea, it’s certainly one of the most beautiful!!
Not just famous for its salmon fishing but also it’s whisky, we’ve already managed to pack in two visits to the distilleries; Arberlour Distillery for one of their whisky tasting experiences and a tour of the J. & G. Grant - Glenfarclas Distillery too, where further tasting was an absolute must.
After a fun packed day, it’s back to the hotel and the iconic Quaich Bar, founded over 120 years ago it offers a huge selection of the finest whiskies from around the globe…………well it would be rude not to!
From sunshine to hail throughout the week, we've seen it all; but that didn't stop us from catching some stunning salmon!
It's been a fantastic trip, filled with great catches, unpredictable weather, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to all our guests that joined us.
